Alaska Smiles

Living in Anchorage means we are always ready for an adventure. Whether we are hitting the trails, fishing for our next big catch, or cheering on the Anchorage Wolverines, our local lifestyle keeps us busy. But amidst all the outdoor fun, taking care of our health is a top priority. When it comes to oral health, finding a welcoming and highly skilled team can make all the difference. If you have been searching for the best family dentist in Anchorage AK, let me introduce you to a local favorite that is changing the way we think about dental visits: Alaska Smiles.

Going to the dentist is not always at the top of our fun list, but this clinic truly flips the script. From transparent pricing to a high tech approach, they make every visit a breeze. I love how they focus on comfort and collaboration, ensuring every patient understands their care plan.

The heart of any great clinic is its doctors, and this team is as Alaskan as it gets. Dr. Brett Johnson is a lifelong local who brings his passion for the community straight into the office. When he is not busy running ultramarathons or spending time with his wife and four kids, he serves as the official team dentist for the Anchorage Wolverines. He knows exactly how to make patients feel at ease while providing cutting edge care.

Joining him is Dr. Andrea Schiller, who fully embraces the Alaskan lifestyle. She loves filling her freezer with local fish and traveling around the state in her classic RV with her husband and their two pups. Her background in behavioral neuroscience and her commitment to lifelong learning mean she is incredibly skilled at creating customized treatment plans that keep your smile healthy and functional.

• One of the main reasons locals rave about this practice is the sheer variety of top tier services offered under one roof. They handle everything from routine cleanings to advanced cosmetic procedures. Here are just a few of the treatments that make them stand out:

• Clear Smile Aligners for teens and adults wanting a discreet way to straighten their teeth.

• Digital Smile Design technology that lets you visualize your customized results before treatment even begins.

• Precision dental implants to restore function and confidence.

• Prompt emergency care for those unexpected toothaches or accidents.

You will feel the positive energy the second you walk through the doors. The entire staff, from Office Manager Sina to Treatment Coordinator Taylor, is dedicated to making you feel seen and cared for. Dental hygienist Aaryn and seasoned assistants Lyuba and Raffy bring decades of combined experience to the chair. They all share a love for the great outdoors and a genuine passion for transforming lives through radiant smiles. They are completely transparent about costs, which is a breath of fresh air in the medical world.

Finding a clinic that balances advanced technology with a warm and friendly atmosphere is like striking gold. Whether you need a simple checkup or a complete smile makeover, this crew has the skills and the bedside manner to make it a great experience. Give Alaska Smiles a try and see why so many locals trust them with their oral health. Keep smiling, Anchorage!
